Today, I am going to share some of the easiest homemade packs to have clear and glowing skin.  The best part of these packs is you can instantly feel the result.  These tips are great for every skin type and the products are 100% natural. You can use any of the face pack listed below for naturally glowing and acne-free skin.

Rice water pack

 

Rice water is mostly used by eastern people for skin whitening and to bring glow on the skin.  Rice water is rich in vitamins and minerals which are essential for healthy skin. Rice water also contains ferulic acid which contains anti-inflammatory properties. For an instant result, I recommend using rice water pack.

Indegrents:

  • a half cup of rice
  • a glass of water
  • honey-1 tbsp

Procedure:

Boil a glass of water with half cup of rice. Boil it until the rice becomes a paste. Pour the paste into a clean bowl and add a tablespoon of honey. Mix the paste for a while to make it consistent. Apply the paste on your face and leave it for thirty minutes. Wash your face after 30 minutes and you will instantly see the change. Use this pack twice a week for glowing skin

Tomato face Pack

Tomato is a powerhouse of Vitamin A and Vitamin C, which is essential for healthy glowing skin. Tomato also contains antioxidant. Antioxidants protect the skin cells from damaging and prevents pimples and wrinkles. Antioxidants also help to even the skin tone.

Indegrents:

  • Tomato -1
  • Lemon -1
  • Yogurt -1

Procedure

To get the juice from a tomato, squeeze half of a  tomato in a  bowl. Then, add a spoonful of yogurt. For oily skin, add some lemon juice. Mix the mixture well. Apply this mask on your face and wash the mask after 15 minutes. You can use the remaining pulp of the tomato as a cleanser. Mash the pulp with a fork to make a paste and gently massage your face with the pulp paste for two minutes. Then wash your face with water. You can use this remedy once a week.

Oatmeal pack

Oatmeal is the great source of vitamin, minerals and antioxidants. It also has anti-inflammatory and anti-itching effects.  Skin redness, rashes, blemishes, dryness and itchiness can be prevented by using oatmeals. It is also rich in ferulic acid which prevents skin from damaging and aging. Oatmeal face pack is also highly used to prevent pimples.

Indegrents:

  • oatmeal

Procedure:
Take a cup of hot water and put a handful of oats in the water. Leave it for one minute. Apply the soaked oats on your face. You can also gently massage your face with the remaining water of the cup. Massage for 1 minute and wash your face with water.  Then, apply moisturizer. You can instantly feel soft and glowing skin.

Potato face pack

Potato highly contains Vitamin B6. Vitamin B6 helps in new cell formation and also prevents the hormonal imbalance that causes acne. Catecholase enzyme is also found in potato which helps to reduce black spot and acne scars.

Indegrents:

  • Potato-1
  • lemon-1
  • honey-1 tbsp
  • Rose water-few drops

Procedure:
At first peel of the potato and cut it into small pieces. Now, grind the potato pieces with a small drop of rose water. If your skin is oily, add some lemon to the paste whereas if your skin is dry add a tablespoon of honey. You can mix both honey and lemon if your skin is normal. Mix this paste and apply it on your face. Leave it for 20 minutes and wash your face with water. You can do this procedure once a week.

Avocado face pack

Avocado is rich in vitamin, minerals and antioxidant.

Indegrents:

  • Honey-1 tbsp
  • Avocado-1/2

Procedure:

Put a tablespoon of honey in a cup of warm water.  Cut an avocado into two pieces and take half part of it. Using a spoon, scoop out the pulp of avocado and put it in a bowl. Mash it and mix it well. Put some water if the mixture is not consistent. Apply the paste on your face and leave it for 20 minutes. Wash your face with water and apply moisturizer.

 

Important tip: After using any kind of face pack or mask don’t forget to apply moisturizer. Moisturiser is essential for both oily and dry skin.

  2. I’ve used oatmeal on my face before for acne. My mother taught me to do this when I was younger. I’ve recently seen a video online for a homemade sugar scrub that I want to try as well. I feel that anything that is natural and can exfoliate your skin, like your packs listed above, really help slough off the dead skin and dirt, which in a few days time helps clear up acne.
